Am Pregnant. Pregnancy Test Showing 4 Weeks. Want To Abort. Suggestions?
Hello Doctor.
I have a query to ask you if you could really help me to find solution to my problem facing to me today. As per pregnancy testing result, it was showing positive result and prove as 4weeks pregnant. I want to abort or wash not to get the baby form inside me then what steps should I need to do? as I do have spotting as well.
Your advice will be really helpful to me.

hello..thanks for the query
as you say that pregnancy is positive and 4 weeks ,,
want to know your age,are you pregnant for the first time or had any previous abortions or pregnancies,lscs or normal deliveries..blood group,and general health status ,haemoglobin and other blood tests to be normal..
first of all make sure you want mtp.then get a usg abdomen scan done to confirm pregnancy and foetus in uterus(as sometimes it can be in tubes), consult a gynaecologist and take mtp pills with combination of mifepristone and misoprostol by a gynaecologist...
remember that in early weeks of pregnancy most of the times mtp by pills is successful but sometimes it is failed or incomplete which may require a d and c (surgical cleaning of products in uterus ) by the dr...
and repeated mtps can harm you

First thing, you need to consult with gynecologist to proceed medical abortion. You can't take MTP kit by yourself without your doctor's supervision.
This kit contains two types of pills, one to be taken orally at first appointment and another pill to be inserted in vagina or mouth within 48 hours of first pill.
This medication should be prescribed by a gynecologist for safe termination. The procedure is associated with abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding. So supportive medication may be needed. Post pill abortion one USG scan is mandatory to check retained bits. In such case, D & C is the option.

You should consult a gynaecologist for ultrasonography to rule out size of pregnancy and go for medical abortion or surgical abortion accordingly because without supervision of a gynaecologist chances of incomplete abortion, excessive bleeding and infection may be present.
