Am I Still Safe Or Fully Protected With Yasmin?

hi, i am a bit worried..

here is my full story,

i was on yasmin for a few months and i usually started the new pack on Saturday, but then i decided to get on Yaz. so when i got on the new pack of Yaz, i started the first pill of the new Yaz pack on Friday (so its a day earlier than usual) so here is my first question.. am I fully protected then?

Then a week before my period is supposed to start, i was prescribed some anti-biotics and i took it.....we had unprotected sex, i got freaked out so i went and took morning after pill.. so my period is supposed to come today but its not here yet..Am I still safe? Please answer PLEASE :)

Hi

Yes,you are protected and the effectiveness will remain the same since you have not missed any dose.

Most antibiotics do not affect contraception except rifampicin-like antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
