After flu there is pain in my kidney , what is the reason ?
Hey, i ve recently had a very bad flu . A week before that my throat was infected. My flu mostly went away but now im having back/ kidney pain. İt starts from the tip of my rib and aches towards my kidney. Today i was coughing and i felt that something inside popped and the pain got much worse. I took some painkillers which lessened the pain but i was wondering if i should see a octor or is it just dehydration after a flu?
Hello doctor,my husband used to feel flu symptoms and didnt heal for 3 months he went to the doctor he said it s bronchite he gave him antibiotics after stopping it ,he made diarrheea for 3 weeks he was diagnosed with dysenteria, mycosis where present in stool test, the pharmacist gave him flagyl he took it for 14 days maybe because the symtoms after 10 days didnt stop while taking it he used to feel ear pain and throat pain after stopping it 10 days later he woke up one day with very strong diziness the world is spliting around and it didnt stopped they took him to the hospital immediately after many tests he was diagnosed with bvvp the doctors gave him exercises and betaserc we was relieved from diziness but the throat pain, eye tieredness, ear pain and sensibility to light didn t disappear.Disconfort in Gastrointestinal tract appeared we thought he had reflux we made H.Pylori urea and blood test both were positive, the doctor gave him Klacid500 mg twice a day, ospamox 1000mg twice a day pantoprazole 20mg once a day in the morning.all these medicines were taken in a period of 4months.After stopping the medications, the throat and ear and eye pain were still present although we are following the food and lifetsyle precautions for reflux the symptoms improved a little but he still have the pain.Yesterday we made endoscopy to see if the disconfort results from reflux we found out that he has mild erythematous exudative gastritis, involving pre-pyloric region was evident, oesophagus was normal.th squamo-columnar mucosal junction (z-line) was at 40 cm.The duodenum normal to its second part.He is not being able to eat a lot during the meals and not too much drinking with foods so he lost 6kgs in one month, and he will be underweight soon if he continue loosing weight.the question why does he feels throat pain he can t raise his voice, eye and ear pain all the time does gastritis makes throat pain, eye sensitivity to light and eye tiredness and ear pain and general tiredness ?and what will be the treatment for that?He has no body temperature .thank u soo muchh i really need your help.

Hello, I recently traveled up to Mammoth (elevation between 7900 - 8900 ft) for the Memorial Day Weekend. We arrived on Friday evening. I felt fine all day Saturday and Sunday. After going in to bed on Sunday night I was restless and had a hard time sleeping. I started shivering and had chills. I think I started to scare myself and started having some anxiety which was making me feel like I wasn t breathing right - though I know I wasn t really breathless, didn t have shortness of breath nor was my heart rate irregular. I ended up taking my temperature at it was just under 100 degrees (normal for me is in the 97-low 98 degrees). I could tell my temperature rose a bit more as I got really warm then sweaty. I felt very dehydrated and kept drinking a lot of fluids. I was somewhat dizzy and felt a slighly nauseated. I couldn t sleep for most of the night. I took some ibuprofin and finally dosed off around 4 in the morning. I woke up around 6/7 am and didn t feel any better. My fever had come back (still low grade) and then I had a headache and body aches. I did start having some chest tightness and aches in my chest area too - similar to when my asthma acts up. As the morning went on I felt a little bit better but still had a headache, body aches and low grade fever. We left the area around noon and went back home (which is close to sea level). I felt much better still had some of the symptoms. My fever rose to almost 101 during the night (last night) but dropped after taking ibuprofin this morning. I still have had a slight headache but it and the aches have improved. Temperature hasn t risen since the night again. Question - does this sound more like a flu or virus or could it have been altitude sickness? or something else? Some of the symptoms sound like it could have been but not sure since I did have a fever and it came on after 48 hrs of being at that elevation (we slept at the lower elevation).
I am writing about my 14 year old son, who has been ill repeatedly 4 times for the past 7 weeks. He s been on antibiotics all 4 times, struggles to recover until his antibiotics are nearly gone, finally feels better for a few days and then gets it again. We are wondering if it is valley fever. Can that come with congestion/sinus symptoms? He s been diagnosed with sinus infections each time, but develops not only significant congestion/sinus symtpoms, but also chest pain, horrible coughing, fatigue, sore throat, and is miserable. He has faithfully taken not only strong antibiotics, but prescription strength cough syrup/decongestant, Flonase nasal spray, Zyrtec once a day, and breathing treatments up to 4 times a day, along with vitamin C and lots of fluids. He is otherwise very healthy, but his doctor is concerned that perhaps it is not really sinus infections he has had. I cannot find on the internet where there is a connection between congestion/sinus symptoms and Valley Fever - curious about that as others have asked if he has been tested for it. We live in Phoenix. As a young child he had repeated ear infections, but 4 years ago at age 10 he had his tonsils and adenoids removed, tubes in his ears, and a major sinus surgery. He has been very healthy ever since until now. Any ideas? Thank you verey much!
I have had recent blood samples and urine and stool cultures done. I had typhoid which took months to clear whilst I am in India. I have recently been passing what I know to be part of the superficial intestine (I had a dog who died from parvovirus and he passed the same thing just before his death and which I showed to his vet!) I recently had some diarheoa but not severe. Now, however, just 5 days after the results came back normal, I have a really severe sore throat, chest, back, neck and shoulders. My arms are sore to move and to touch, and covered in mosquito bites. I have severe pain in between my shoulder blades for which I am taking continuous pain killers. My fever is 102 and up to 104, for the past 2 days. I feel like I have severe flu and cannot do anything, even moving my fingers is causing pain!!! Can I have malaria even if my tests came back showing nothing abnormal? My chest hurts to cough, so does my back.
