i want to consult regarding thallesemia case. We are thallasemia couple and had aborted one baby of 16 weeks for him being thallesemic major. i want to know regarding PGD for thallesemia

Pre implantation genetic diagnosis of thalassemia. This procedure involves many steps:
a. In vitro fertilization is used to create a zygote which is then nurtured into an embryo. This is done for multiple empbryos
b. Then each of these embryos is tested for thalassemia prior to the selection of embryos for transfer to the uterus to establish pregnancy
