Abdominal Surgeries, Painful. Was On Narcotics. What Can Be Done?

I have had several surgeries on my abdoman and am in constant pain, all the doctors think I m drug seeking, but I am not. I have had no narcotics for months now, but due to all the drug users, I am the one paying the cost. Why are these Doctors not looking at my case as they should by a person to person basis?? I now am at a loss of what to do, and have had over 20 surgeries and still need to be under a doctors care.

Hi there ~

I am sorry you had to undergo all those surgeries and I am sure going under the knife is always hurtful, let alone the trauma of going through anesthesia and the recovery and the pain and all such. I understand you have been on narcotic medications to help with the pain and a pain specialist should be able to help you with your medications. I am sure you can find one on the website or have your regular doctor recommend one for you. I would think this would be covered under your insurance. Please take care and have a good day.

I hope this helped.
