8 Year Son, Suffering From Headache, Fever. Taking Children S Tylenol. Recommendations?
My 8 year old son had a headache earlier today along with a fever of about 101.7. The headache has gone away after taking 2 TBS of Children's Tylenol. His fever went up to 102 and is now at 101.3. He says he just feels bad...no sore throat...no earache...just doesn't feel good. My plan is to try to get the fever on down with Motrin and Tylenol and if he is still running a fever in the morning I'll take him to to doctor.

Hi, your 8 year son had fever, no relief with tylenol.
Fever is not a disease it a symptom of having some disease in the body due to infection.
For children with fever should immediately taken to the doctor for diagnosis of the infection causing the fever. So i advise to take him to the doctor immediately. Thank you.
