60 Years. Shrunk Clitoris. Treatment?

i am so embarrassed but i need help. my clitoris used to be normal. but now that i am 60 yrs old i noticed it has shrunk back into the hood and i can't even see it anymore. it is affecting my sexual pleasure as well. i went to my own doctor. the PA examined me and she left in a hurry and i heard the other nurses and her laughing the moment she left the room. geepers. if i man couldn't find his penis would it be so hilarious? i know the clit can shrink with age but really this is distressing.the hood skin is tight around the area. you can just barely see a tiny bit of the tip and sometimes it aches. is there anything i can do? female circumcision? A CREAM? i don't know why this isn't treated seriously.

Hi,
You have expressed your concern. It is my duty to relieve your doubts. After menopause ovarian secretion of estrogen and progesterone ends. However, they still continue to produce small amounts of the male hormone testosterone, which can be converted to estrogen (estradiol) in body fat.
In addition, the adrenal gland continues to produce androstenedione (a male hormone), which is converted to estrone and estradiol in the body fat.
your problem is only the deficiency of estrogen. Estrogen tabs are available. It is safe for whom uterus is removed. If uterus is intact a prior consultation with gynecologist is a must
Clitoral hood reduction (female circumcision) is not indicated for you
Best wishes
