10 Month Baby, Rashes On Skin, Increasing In Size After Applying Clotrimazole. Diagnosed As Ringworm. Opinion?

Hello Doctor, My baby is 10 months old. 2 months back she started getting rashes on her skin. Doctor here diagnosed as ringworm and gave clotrimazole 2% cream for 1 week. As rash got worse, she was given clorimazole 1% and hydrocorisone 1% cream. for 12 days then to continue clotrimazole cream for 6 weeks. Some rashes have become white spots. Some have increased in size and looks like white flaky skin. I have stopped clotrimazole and applied E45 moisturising cream last 2 days. It has got worse with rashes like prickly heat alll over the body. I am not sure if its ringworm or anyother condition. Pls review her photos and give your opinion.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Without clinical examination and photographs, it is very difficult to diagnose a skin condition.

I advise you to consult the dermatologist for the examination of rash, so that appropriate skin cream and medication can be suggested.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
