Hello,

Thanks for posting your query,

Loosing weight requires much discipline and the profound willingness to loose weight. The primary goal of weight loss is burning out fat, it means you need to get involved in exercises gradually (increasing to intensive as time goes on). There are a lot of online weight loss exercises (you can google yourself and choose which one suits you).
As for the cholesterol, you will need to do a lipid profile test (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides) to determine if you are suffering from dyslipidemia. If that is done and conclusion derived in favor of a dyslipidemia, then you can be placed on fat burning medications such as statins.
If you are female with irregular menses, obesity etc, further your gynobs could prescribe metformin which can also help burn fat (some doctors even prescribe metformin even without menstrual issues).
You need to exercise at least trice weekly for about 1-3 hours daily (more hours if available are recommended). Make sure you do not start immediately with intensive exercises as there is risk of cardiac disorder (which could be fatal).

Hope this was useful and let me know if other questions.
Please if you are satisfied with my answer do accept it.

Hello and thanks for writing back,

I have taken sometime to write this out in detail for you and hope this will serve you well.

Weight loss can be a complex thing to achieve and there are no "miracle" pills (medically approved) that maybe use to loose weight immediately. But most doctors will agree on a particular weight loss plan or if the obesity is severe, surgical liposuction or pharmacotherapy maybe indicated.

- For most patients, the initial weight loss objective should be a 10 percent reduction from baseline body weight over a period of about four to six months. After six months, the rate of weight loss often stabilizes or slows.

- An overweight individual with a BMI of less than 30 kg per m2 and no health
risk factors should have a target, six-month BMI in the range of 20 to 27. A
decrease of 300 to 500 kcal per day will produce weight losses of 0.5 to 1
lb (0.22 to .45 kg) per week (10 percent reduction at six months).
- A nutritional therapy should be considered; a meal plan that creates an energy deficit of 500 to 1,000 kcal per day less than the individual's average daily intake will usually be suitable for weight reduction. Along with caloric reduction, a reduction in total fat consumption should be recommended.

- Physical activity
Although most weight loss is achieved through decreased caloric intake, physical activity is the primary factor responsible for increased caloric expenditure. Exercise may reduce the desire for foods that are high in fat and also may help to promote dietary compliance. The long-term physical activity goal of most adults should be to perform 30 or more minutes of moderately intensive physical activity such as walking each day. I am still insisting on exercises even though you said you do not have time, but if you want to loose weight, a little sacrifice of your time will be worthwhile.

- Behavior modification is paramount in reducing weight. Unhealthy eating habits should be checked and stopped.

- Pharmacotherapy should be considered only for individuals with high, very high, or extremely high BMI-based health risks:
1. Patients with a BMI of 30 kg per m2 or more and no attendant risk factors.
2. Patients with a BMI of 27 kg per m2 or more and one or more obesity related comorbidities or other diseases. Drugs commonly prescribed are phentamine/phentamine resin/sibutramine/orlistat all intravenously ( you will need to get a doctor's prescription for that). Phenylpropanolamine (Acutrim, Dexatrim) and a blend of Chinese herbs (Dianixx) are the only over-the-counter products marketed as appetite suppressant medicines. Chromium salts and hydroxycitric acid have also been promoted as weight-loss agents. There is little scientific evidence to support the efficacy of any of these agents.

Well hope I was explicit enough and you will achieve your weight desire in the nearest future.

Hi,
Thanks for updating,

I did not fully understand what you have presented but If I understood fully well, you have a 5 months old baby ( you might probably gained some of your weight before you delivered). If I had your height, I would be able to calculate your body mass index which can help me actually determine if you require medicines to loose weight or not. From your weight presented, it is likely that you are obesed and will definitely need to loose weight.
In my last reply I presented some drugs that could help reduce much of your weight together with a 30 mins intense exercise.
Hope this helps and wish you the best.
