Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

It usually need 2-4 weeks to feel better once again after catheter ablation. He should eat regularly following a healthy lifestyle and diet and everything it's going to be ok within 20 days.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you and your family health!

I have been waking up throughout the night too frequently post 4/18/16 ablation every hour or two, and was awake most of last night after two hours of sleep...not sleepy throughout today. As is my usual routine, I take 10 mg. of melatonin with a half of Ibuprofen Pm an hour before bedtime... but it did not keep me asleep last night. Why am I waking up...not staying asleep? The ablation has done its job. Those pre-ablation symptoms are gone although I do have a "nervous" feeling as the day wears on.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back
Sleep disorders it's common after ablation procedure in patients with previous anxiety and sleep problems.

You should stay calm and relaxed because everything is going to be ok within a couple of weeks. You should take regularly melatonin and add an extra xanax pill before sleep. Moreover I would recommend using camomile tea.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
