Brief Answer:
4 - 6 weeks after delivery

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Generally next pregnancy is best avoided for a few years after the first child is born.
However, ovulation is reported to occur as early as 4 - 6 weeks following childbirth, sometimes even sooner.
It is best to use some form of contraception as ovulation is pretty unpredictable.
And it can be delayed even more if the woman is exclusively breastfeeding.
All the best.
