What Is The Ideal Dosage Of Oxycodone While Suffering From Severe Back Pain?
Question: I am taking 10 mg of oxycodone every 4-6 hrs for severe back pain. 4 herniated disc. Nerve damage at almost every level c and l spine plus many other things...been on them 5 years. What is the lethal dosage on this med?

For pain relief pregabalin or amitryptiline or gabapentin can be used.
Oxycodone has abuse and dependence properties so should be used in lowest possible doses.
Doses as high as 30 mg 4 hourly can be prescribed but under guidance of a doctor.
Physiotherapy should be continued.
Surgical advice should be taken from a neurosurgeon too.

I know I am addicted to the oxy and valium but afraid to go off of it. I have been on it 6 years and get the shakes when I miss a dose.I am afraid and suicidal.
