Brief Answer:
Dandruff to be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to HCM forum.

The most common cause of recent onset hair loss is a fungal infection of scalp(like dandruff). This will be associated with scaling of the scalp during combing etc.If this is the case,we can treat with antifungal shampoos like ketoconazole for a few weeks(apply twice weekly for 4 weeks, followed by once weekly for 3 to 4 months).
If you are not sure of the diagnosis, kindly see a dermatologist for evaluation and treatment accordingly.
Meanwhile, keep the scalp dry always.Avoid excessive sweating.Include enough fruits and green leafy veges in the diet(anti oxidants and vitamins promotes healthy hair).

Hope this answer will help.
Wishing you good health.
Thank you.
