Question: my son's x-ray report says, hilar congestion and radio opacity in left upper zone. He has started fever from last Monday night which was gone off from Saturday when doctor prescribed him Azee 250 (Azithromycin) tablet. today we have given him sixth (last tablet). Presently no fever but dry cough issue still there.

Brief Answer:
Get repeat chest x ray done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thanks for your question on HCM.

In my opinion you should get repeat chest x ray done and compare it with old x ray.
If upper lobe and hilar lesion is improving then no need to worry.
But if lesion is static or worsening then we need to rule out other possibilities.
As upper lobe lesions with hilar congestion is seen in Tuberculosis mostly. So we need to rule out this first.

So get done repeat chest x ray for deciding further step.

Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.

Wishing good health to your son.

Thanks.
