What Does The Following Urine Analysis Report Indicate?

Question: I am a 50 year old female. I had a urinalysis completed and the following results came back adnormal:
U mucus- many
PH - 1
WBC Esterase - hazy
Glucose - 25
Urobilinogen - 50
Epithelial cells - many
WBC 2 - 5
RBC 5 - 10
Bacteria - many

Thanks for your query,based on the report of your urine analysis that you have posted it appears that you have Acute UTI with diabetes.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Do you have urinary symptoms like increased frequency,urgency.dysuria etc.?
2) Are you diabetic?

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute,

Please ensure that your diabetes is under control

I have not experienced any changes in urination. I have not been diagnosed with diabetes, my blood sugar was tested on the same day and the glucose level was 93, normal.
