What Does No Gestation Sac In Pregnancy Indicate?
Question: had a scan and the doctor said the endometrial wall is thick but see no sac yet had my last period on the 2 of July but is not in .any advice
Brief Answer:
Need more information.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I would like to know if you had a normal period or just some spotting. As I gather from your past queries, it appears as though you had a delayed period.
If it was a normal period, it is too soon to see a gestation sac and you may have to wait for a couple of weeks to get a proper opinion. An estimation of serial titres of serum beta-hCG can be of good help to assess the progress as doubling titres every 2-3 days suggest good prognosis.
Hope your query has been clarified. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

Is a normal period no spotting so likely how many week can it be
Brief Answer:
3-4 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing again.
If you had your normal period on the 2nd of July, and if you are sure that you have conceived during this cycle, you are likely to have a pregnancy of 3-4 weeks and as such, a sac cannot be viewed in a sonogram. A trans-vaginal sonogram can pick up a gestation sac at 4-5 weeks. This means that you can have a clarity of the situation in another week.
Hope your query has been clarified. Please get back if you need more information. I will be ready to help.
