Brief Answer:
Needs investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in the left lower back that migrates upwards can be due to-
- Indigestion problem & acidity (M/C).
- Peptic ulcer and gastritis.
- Renal colic and Pyelonephritis.
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
- Ulcerative Colitis or Diverticular disease.
- Ovarian Cyst, fibroid or Adenomyosis etc.
- Muscular pain- posture related
Proper clinical examination and some initial investigations should be carried out under the guidance of GASTROENTEROLOGIST.
Investigation includes: One pelvic ultrasound scan; Blood tests like Renal and Liver function, Sugar (PPBS), ESR; Urine microscopy and culture; GI Endoscopy or Colonoscopy, CT or MRI scan (if required) etc.

Complete treatment can be made only after diagnosis of the case. You must consult with Gastroenterologist regarding this. Pantoprazole group of drug can be taken in empty stomach (in case of indigestion problem) to get some relieve until you get an appointment with your doctor.

In addition, she must take healthy balanced diet, avoid spicy and salty food stuffs, drink plenty of water, keep bowel habit regular, maintain genital hygiene and take sound sleep. Don't be stay in empty stomach for long time. Take 6 small meals instead of 3 large meals.
