Brief Answer:
Most likely fatty liver.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for query dear.
As per your query,
Cirrhosis means Chronic liver damage from a variety of causes leading to scarring and liver failure. Its usually a end stage disease and is characterised by a number of signs like Yellowing of the skin (jaundice) due to the accumulation of bilirubin in bloodFatigue,Weakness,Loss of appetite,Itching Easy bruising from decreased production of blood clotting factors by the diseased liver.

Most likely your increased size is due to fatty liver in which fat is deposited in liver. This accumulation of fat is characterised by mild to moderate derangement of liver function tests.

Please attach the reports of your liver functions please i want to go through it.

The first step treatment of fatty liver is weight loss through a combination of a healthy diet and exercise. Losing weight addresses the conditions that contribute to nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.

If you are alcoholic stop alcohol at once.

Please mention the symtoms you are having?
Any jaundice fever nausea etc?
Why was ultrasound done?
Are you smoker or alcoholic?
Attach reports of LFT.

Thanks!

I am a alcoholic and have quit I had 2 lft tests within a week of quiting the results were at 58 on first 48 on Second alt 106 on first 95 on second. Alp bilirubin creatine and albinium where all in normal range. Also no symptoms unless you count slightly pink palms but I've had that as far as I can remember. And also tired a lot but I've always been on lazy side. I'm a bit overweight also and was a smoker which I quit just recently

Follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
See change in Alt and Ast are significant only when their level is elevated more then three times the normal values.
These enzymes are produced by cells in liver and a small portion of them is diffused in blood.Due to alcohol abuse(frequent drinking) these liver cells get damaged hence the stored enzymes are released into blood stream causing elevation deranged LFT.
As evident from reports things have started to settle down with in a week of abstinence.

Your prognosis depends on how much fibrosis(damage) and inflammation are present. If you stop drinking fatty liver and inflammation can be reversed. Fatty liver may completely resolve within 6 weeks. However if there is Fibrosis or cirrhosis it cannot be reversed. As enzymes have already started to settle down to normal most likely you have no fibrosis.

Rx
Start taking milk of thistle(sylimarin) once daily it is a potent liver rejenuvator and would help to recover you faster.
