Question: just thought I'd try see if you could make sense of this discharge letter as it will be in medical terms and doctors seem to understand one another's writing. I had a laparoscopy last Monday just picked up letter from gp surgery. please could you kindly explain to me what this means?

Brief Answer:
Explanation is given below....

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query.

I have read your question carefully and I will try to explain based on what I can read.

It is very difficult to read other doctor's writing but from I what understand is--

1. they have treated minimal endometriosis which you had
2. you may need other surgery if pain is persistent
3. Need to exclude ectopic pregnancy at the earliest (if there's any pregnancy)

Hope I was helpful and please feel free for further discussion.

Best regards

Brief Answer:
Need more details..

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again and apologize for late replay.

Pain in the lower abdomen may be due to many reasons but the most common reasons are:

-urinary infection (Do you have any urinary issue , as urinary frequency ?)
-Upper genital infection (Did you have any genital infection ?)
-large bowel issue (Do you have constipation or other bowel issue ?)
-adhesions due to any previous surgery(Have you done any abdominal surgery before this ?)

Meanwhile, back pain that is constant you should contact with a neurologist to exclude any spinal issue too.

Bleeding after laparoscopy, of less spotting in nature, is expected .

Please write back with these details and I will try to assist you.

Best regards

hi hun. don't worry about late reply.
I had a c section 3 years ago.
but the recent laparoscopy said I had a dense thick piece of scar tissue which went from my belly button to bowel area they didn't want to touch. (my feeling is it's endo on the bowel ) iv had bowel trouble all my life and maybe the endo is hiding under the scar tissue. the nausea is getting to me bad still continues all day today aswel as fatigue. iv always had bowel issues from a young girl they have got worse since c section. sometimes I get sudden urge to go and it gets embarrassing can't control it. other times in same stool it's like iv got constipation that turns to loose stools in the same poo. also I bleed from bum on period and have like I mucos sometimes from there. stabbing pains in my lower abdomen it hurts when I have to pass gas always feels like sunbathing is resting on rectum and that I need to go or haven't completely evaquated my bowels. I have this aswel as symptoms with bladder what a urologist is dealing with frequency urgency bladder blockage and blood in urine. I'm 32 and it's stressing me out. thanks for your time.

Brief Answer:
Pain can be due to many reasons

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again

I'm sorry you are facing such health issue but you should be calm because to much stress aggravate your health issue.

From all your history you have write above, sharp pain in your lower abdomen can be due to:
irritable bowel syndrome ,
adherences due to previous cesarean section (thick piece of tissue)
and urinary issue .
Have you done any consult with a gastro-enterologist to discuss about your bowel issue ?!
If you haven't done yet ,please contact as soon a possible .

Nausea can be due to IBS ,because IBS is often related to other common symptoms like fullness, abdominal pain, and bloating after eating.
While not always the case, IBS nausea can occur most often after certain foods trigger your symptoms.
Some medications can cause also nausea .
Hence try to control your diet and which food trigger nausea.
If nausea will continue than contact with your GP to prescribe any anti-nausea medications.

Hope I was helpful and please feel free for further discussion.

Best regards
