Brief Answer:
Suggestive of a thyroid nodule!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this finding and all the inconveniences this might have caused you. I have reviewed this report and it says that there is a possible nodule in the thyroid which explains the reason for this increased thyroid hormones. It also didn't find any evidence to suggest that this is an autoimmune disease(Graves disease) or inflammation of the thyroid gland(thyroiditis).

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

Why is it called a toxic nodule..is this the only type of nodule..can this be treated.
I'm worrying a lot.

Can it cause ringing in the ears and fullness the ears on one side.
It all started with my ear months ago and then my thyroid was hyper I was told. I took ptu it helped r thyroid levels but not the ear issue.

I stopped the thyroid medicine and now the ear problem never went away and now i did another test and I'm a bit hyper again.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Toxic means it produces excess hormones!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Toxic means these are active and produces high levels of hormones. For sure it can be treated and you should not freak out. However, hyperthyroidism causes increased blood pressure which often explains the ringing in ears unless well controlled. What are you current blood pressure reading? Have you ever seen an ENT specialist for ear evaluation?

I wish you well and let me know what your thoughts are.

I don't know my blood pressure and yes I saw an ent he couldn't find much wrong with my ear except hearing loss. Told me to check my jaw.

The ringing is on the one side. The right side and I thought because of the toxic nodule it can be that.

So what treatments is their for toxic nodule.
Ok I will try not freak out.

Hello I did my ultrasound today. I was so anxious I couldn't go in.
The thing that plays with my mind is maybe I have had this since May last year and it was found.

As that's when my thyroid problem re emerged and my right ear problem fullness ringing blocked. I still have that issue, pressure when swallowing on one side. The doctor said nodule does cause ear problem.

Can a nodule cause this.

I uploaded my ultrasound. My gp said we watch it 6months and recheck.

What are your thoughts. He said it's not serious.

Brief Answer:
This is a reasonable option!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the reports attached. Actually that explains the changes in the hormone levels.

To control in 6months is a reasonable option. I will suggest you keep me posted and let me know if there is anything else you would like us to talk about at this time.

I wish you well.
