Question: I am a 70 yr. old male with ITP my HGB is 13.1 is this normal. It has dropped some over the last few months usually 13.8 or higher.Any worry here

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your hemoglobin level is normal. 13.1 gm is considered as normal. If your hemoglobin level fall below 12.5 then it is considered as low. In ITP hemoglobin level remain normal. So no need to worry about that. However you should repeat your hemoglobin level after a month and regularly monitor your platelet count. No any treatment is required right now. Just be relaxed.
