Question: sir/ madam, I am a girl(unmarried) of age 26. I went to the Doctor(gynacologist) to consult because I did not have periods since 2 months. After ultrasound (impression- normal uterus with bilateral PCO )of pelvic he told me that there are some cyst like growth in my ovary which is curable but I should be pregnant quickly because it may create problem to become pregnant. I asked him whether there is something life threatening then he replied no. There is nothing life threatening. He advised me some blood and urine test like- DC, TLC, ESH, FBS, VDRL, HIV, SF ANALYSIS, T2, T4, TSH, FSH Plasma insulin etc. The report has not come yet. I have surfed in the internet and found that ESH test can detect myeloma (cancer) which is not curable and only treatable. I am much afraid of it. Please reply me is there any chance of this ????

Brief Answer:
Don't worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

High ESR does not mean myeloma or cancer. the chance of cancer at your age is rare.

Don't worry yourself by reading stuff from Internet. Let me know the results of these tests so that I can advice further.

I am sure you will have normal tests.
