Brief Answer:
Need some additional info.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for writing to us. I have reviewed your attached image.

Let me know few things:

1) Do you have any H/O sexual contact - recent or past? Single or multiple partner?

2) Do you have any abnormal vaginal discharge or itching or swelling around groin? Give more details.

3) Do you have any exposure of Anal or Oral sex (if sexually active)? Any H/O genital malignancy in family?

I will be looking forward for your earliest response to give proper suggestion and treatment option.

Brief Answer:
Mostly anal skin tag. Need proper evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for your updated information.

1) According to my opinion, it is mostly suggestive of ANAL SKIN TAG (as it was present before your sexual activity), which is basically harmless growth on the skin outside the anus.

However, we need to rule out genital or anal wart and presence of malignant growth through clinical or rectal examination, histopathological examination or biopsy of that part. You may require to undergo complete STD profile and HPV test to exclude other pathogen.

2) Proper treatment can be done after confirmation of the diagnosis. Surgical excision under local or general anesthesia, laser therapy, Liquid nitrogen cryosurgery etc can be done to remove the skin tag. It is outdoor procedure and you should consult with dermatologist or physician for the same.

3) Recovery is quick after surgical procedure. You should maintain your genital hygiene properly before and after sex, at the time of using toilet. Sitz bath may be advisable to soothe the area.

Hope, I have answered your query. Wish your good health and take care. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.
