Brief Answer:
Lump under armpit

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

The area and swelling needs to be examined. Based on the history that you described it appears to be a cyst. An ultrasound of the breast and axillary region would reveal more information. A staphylococcal boil can also present in the same way. It can harden and lead to abscess and fistulation subsequently if left untreated. If it's a simple cyst then it will resolve with NSAIDS and antibiotics. Some physicians also prescribe serratiopeptidase for such conditions. If there is suspicion regarding the swelling after the examination and ultrasound then an excisional biopsy should be considered to confirm the diagnosis in consult with your doctor. You should discuss the initial management plan with your GP, first.
