Brief Answer:
Posterior pharyngeal wall congestion

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic and thanks for putting up the query
The bumps at the back of throat are due to posterior pharyngeal wall congestion and hypertrophy of mucosa caused by a post nasal drip or repeated throat infection.
The yellowish colour is the hard palate. The colour is probably due to dryness of mucosa.
Any history of nasal blockage or nasal discharge or post nasal drip?
Any history of smoking or tobacco use?
Follow up with the required information so that I can suggest you better.
Take care
Thanks and regards

I don't have any history of the nasal problems or smoking. Is it anything to be concerned about? Could it be a symptom of anything else? Do i need any treatment or should i just leave it? It has already been 4 weeks with sore throat coming and going

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the information.
There is nothing to be worried about or alarming.
My advice is you should get a xray paranasal sinuses done and a throat swab done.
Use hexidine gargle and take tablet vitamin c once daily .
Take an antibiotic course for few days as there is some acute infection. you can take tablet cefixime 200 twice daily.
All the medicine prescribed by me will be available only on prescription.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Thanks and regards
