What Do White Bead Like Particles In Vagina Indicate?

Question: UTI - took 10 days of Keflex, still had symptoms, especially back pain, 5 days off, went to emerg. room and got 7 days of Bactrim DS bec. "still some white blood cells", thought this cleared it. Thought I might have yeast infection so taking probiotics. Had slight light yellow-green sticky discharge on panties only once/day last 2 weeks, forward though, not from vagina. Taking cranberry supplement, thought bladder maybe still cleaning out. Today, wiping around urethra/clitoris picked up small white quarter-inch glob, broke it open, small white fluffy beads inside. Never saw anything like this in my life! Took a mirror and can see a slight cut or even puss-like quarter-inch slit, squeamish to look so can't tell if it's my clitoris or urethra. Just moved don't have gyno in area. Thanks

Brief Answer:
May be a stone

Detailed Answer:
hi XXXXXXX
the white glob you got can be a urinary tract stone. you should do urine routine microscopy culture sensitivity , drink lots of water as permissible and see a urologist . you also need to get a vaginal exam done to rule out bacterial vaginitis. empirical antibiotic intake should be avoided in view of chronic kidney disease. Most probably you have stone associated UTI and vaginitis. if no Gynae around you may try metronidazole vaginal perssary.

Thank you. When you say "stone" the white glob was definitely around my clitoris and I found info online suggesting it could be smegma? It was soft and as I said when broken open - it was only one-quarter inch - had the white fluffy "beads" inside. I was thinking because of the two rounds of antibiotics, maybe some yeast had collected in the hood area, grown, then I wiped it out as the blob. So far, only happened once. What do you think of this possibility?

I am trying to get an emergency vaginal exam and never heard of urinary tract stone -- is it different than kidney stone? -- so will follow through. Would explain length of the UTI though and back pain, which has mostly gone away. How many stones and what size stone is typical? Is stone hard or soft? Would stone usually pass into the toilet bowl or get stuck in my folds like this one. What does "empirical antibiotic intake" mean? I had been running a temp with the first UTI so thought antibiotics were essential. Thanks for your good answers.

Thank you,XXXX

Brief Answer:
Stones may be soft or hard

Detailed Answer:
Smegma is a possibility but uncommon in women with good hygiene . Empirical means when antibiotic was taken without culture sensitivity report. The stone can be in kidney ureter or bladder and unless specifically known called as urinary tract stone. The size varies from 2-3 mm to upto 20 mm. Can be single or multiple , hard or soft , mostly hard like limestone. Rarely it can get trapped near clitoris. you may send it to lab for confirmation.
