Question: I have been having Cholesterol since last 14 months. It was very high when tested in Oct'14. I have been asked to take a medicine Rosave F 10 mg every night.

I had Lipid Profile in Jun'15. Report had come normal. I was asked to take medicine Rosave F 10 mg every alternate night.

I have done Lipid Profile few days back and report has come normal.

Can you please suggest - should I stop/change medicine or reduce dosage further?

Please find attached reports for reference.

My weight is about 93 KG at present.

Brief Answer:
Good report but still not time to stop meds.

Detailed Answer:
Reports look good, but it will be significantly because of medicine. You need to, as of now stop the finofibrate part, take 10 mg rosuvastatin. for about 3 month along with diet and exercise and recheck lipid profile after that. If still controlled reduce to 5mg for 3/6 months and after that it can be stopped provided report remain normal.
