Brief Answer:
Thyroid problem not related to knee pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXX,

Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your question and the medical history in detail.

I have seen the attached reports. The TSH levels are increased for which she has been prescribed thyronorm tablets.

But,i do not feel that this has anything to do with the knee pain.

Usually, after 11 months of delivery, most women have this problem of knee pain. This happen due to increase in their body weight due to lactation and calcium deficiency that occurs due to breast feeding.

If she is not taking calcium and vitamin D tablets, she should start taking them immediately.

For pain, she can take paracetamol or tramadol (Consult your pediatrician before starting these tablets whether it is safe for the baby,in case your wife is breast feeding the baby)

She should wear a knee cap during the day time, with application of local analgesic gels and hot fomentation.

Regarding diet, she should eat high calcium diet for e.g- a glass of milk with protein / vitamin powder, twice a day,dry fruits, green leafy vegetables and salads/fruits.

If possible, upload the Xray with this question so that i can guide her better.

I hope the answer was useful.

Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.

Thank you.
Kind regards.
