Brief Answer:
normal x rays

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care questions

you submitted two views of your chest x-rays. From what I saw on these films they look completely normal. The bones are intact and no fractures. The heart looks normal and the blood vessels are also normal. The lung tissue is normal without signs of infection or tumors.

These are normal chest x rays

I hope I answered your question. Please return to HCM with your health care concerns and questions

Thank you Doctor for your prompt reply.
Our Canadian radiologist find some increased airspace opacity at the left base posteriorly suspicious for some superimposed early pneumonia. Suspect bronchitis bilaterally with some early airspace disease/pneumonia at the left base. Follow-up chest x -ray in 4-6 weeks time post treatment is recommended to ensure resolution.
I showed this pictures to 2 pulmonologist and one radiologist. No signs of pneumonia found.
I still have some morning coughing and sometimes subfebril fever.
What do you think?

Brief Answer:
No pneumonia

Detailed Answer:
I think the radiologist is over reading the x ray. I believe your cough is residual cough and should get better. To help improve air flow remember to take deep breaths. This will do better if you use a device called an inspirometer which will help you aerate the lungs and reduce the cough.

Brief Answer:
The definition of fever is a temperature of 101 or greater

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your question.

I would not be concerned as long as your temperature does not go above 101. As long as it is less than 101 you technically do not have fever and are not at risk of infection. Temperatures of less than 101 are common and are normal and do not indicate anything pathological. So I can reassure you that you have nothing to be concerned about.
