Question: I have a recent lab result indicating High Eos level of 6.2, A high TSH level of 6.27, A high Glucose level of 121 and a Low Calcium level of 8.3. Pernicious Anemia runs in the Family. I had a MMA lab screen that was 227. I have chronic gastritis and have had bouts of pancreaitis in the past also. I have an HGH deficiency as well. I'm currently taking 25Mcg of synthroid but think my memory and loss of thought may be indicating I have B-12 issues as well. I'm 54 years old now and haven't drank in years. Is the mucosa in my stomach lining suspect in the way I can't absorb naturally occuring B12 ? It looks more like a polyglandular autoimmune deficiency to me than anything else. What do u think ?

Brief Answer:
Endocrine

Detailed Answer:
Yes PGA syndromes are a possibility. a Would you know if your antibodies were ever tested for thyroid autoimmunity ? Seuch TPO (thyroid peroxidase) and Thyroglobulin antibodies? Regardless it would be worthwhile checking your adrenal axis by running a blood test called cortisol at 8 am. The low calcium may be a consequence of celiac disease but first a round if tests is necessary as follows: ionized calcium, intact PTH, 25 hydroxy vitamin D, phosphorus

The HGH supplement I started taking in December 2012 was called Sero Vital and was recommended by Dr. Oz. However, I developed bright red blood in my stool about 16 days after starting the HGH supplement. I knew it was an anemic reaction of some type based on available medical information i had. Why would HGH trigger the anemic action I had and are there possibly many different combinations of adrenal system problems going on at once based on what I have supplied u with.
Also I had a colonoscopy screening in XXXXXXX 2015 and it came back positive for FOBT. That makes sense since I was bleeding in the rectum area at the time of my screening. For years I have felt so emotionally drained by things that have happened to me. I realize the hypothalamus is probably in charge of the endocrine systems functions. Was my hypothalamus trying to tell me something has been going on for years by making me an emotional wreck ? Since i started Synthroid I feel I am taking back my life and not so emotional. I did have a second test after the MMA was low at 227. The second MMA test was supposed to determine my bodies ability to absorb B12. Unfortunately i do not have those results at present. I have been treated for depression and anxiety for years and I now believe it was all in error. I don't take any psychiatric medications now and feel wonderful with the exception of clouded memory, confusion, loss of train of thought and an underlying reluctance to exercise on a regular basis. I feel physically drained most of the time. With the additional information I have provided, do u think My adrenaline glands may have caused my anxiety issues and may it have been masked by the dysfunctioning other glands of the endocrine system in tandem with each other ?

Detailed Answer:
1 Yes your adrenal glands need to be checked to ensure they are functioning all right

2 HGH is meant to be used only in very specific situations. HGH use is dangerous and unsafe if used in inappropriate circumstances

3 There are blood tests to help detect pernicious anemia such as Intrinsic factor antibodies and anti-parietal cell antibodies.
