Question 1) I just had 102.8 F fever today. I was fine till morning and then when I woke up I found myself sneezing and having a runny nose by after the fever came and it was 102.8 F when I checked at noon. I was so freaked out that I took 1 tablet of Sinarest LP hoping to lower the fever. The fever lowered to 101.5 f first and then its 100.00 F right now. I feel so desperate because my heart rate which was just fine till morning (Under 80)when I woke up ; it went up to 120 bpm and 125 in the afternoon and its almost the same now (just checked it to be 115) so I am really having worries. I never had a resting heart rate that went 86+ except when I used to do push ups (it wd go to 130 bpm). Can fever increase the heart rate?

Question 2) Now can I take etizola beta 0.25 with the tablet sinarest? Can it coz any trouble or interaction. Hi, I have high protein in my urine 23.8mg/dl, +4 ketones, liver emyenes AST (SGOT) 60 IU/L and ALT (SGPT) 63 IU/L. I went to a RA after being diagnosed with Lupus, I am missing both those test, plan on called the lab for one and going to the DR for the other pages. I was told by 3 Drs I have Fibromyalgia, 2 Drs said I have Hashimoto's, also have nodules and a 4mm cyst on my thyroid, my great aunts all had thyroid problems, and my paternal grandmother had a goiter the size of a grapefruit, 1 Dr says no to Hashimoto's, 1 Dr said I have Lupus and 1 Dr said I do not have Lupus. Are these test results related??? I also have IC, had 3 bladder surgeries and 4 or 5 ovarian surgeries, last surgery they finally removed the bad ovary. Also had my interstines fixed 10 years after a car accident, complained of pain, dr said it was a muscle. Have passed 5 kidney stones, surgery on 1 and maybe surgery on each surgery on my kidneys for 2 big stones. I'm 39, grew-up vegan, some fish and chicken. Had Scarlet Fever at 19.

In the last three days I have gotten swollen knuckles (with pain) and the same in my knees. It is particularlly bad at night interupting sleep. I have done nothing out of my regular rutine to cause this. What might be going on here? Less than a year ago I was diagnosed with a small lump on one adrenal gland and I am worried this might be at the root of the problem.

doctor1 MD

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The swelling in the knuckles and the pan that you are having is not related to the swelling on the adrenal gland diagnosed earlier. The swollen knuckles are likely to be related to a mild joint inflammation.
I hope this information has been both informative and...

I have just found out I have cysts on both adrenal glands and polyps in my gallbladder. This was all found due to pain in my right lower back and lower front, which remains undiagnosed. I was told to get my gallbladder out immediately, but not to worry about the adrenal gland cysts. My sister is a nursing student and is telling me they can be serious. What should I watch for?

brother diagnosed with uc 7 yrs ago. he is hospitalized currently since they can't seem to get his symptoms of uc under control. takes asacol, steriods but they are not helping this time around. A recent CT scan shows that he has a 2cm nodule on left adrenal. Could there be a connection with IBS/UC and a problem with adrenal gland? I know this gland secretes hormones and I'm wondering if too much of something is causing him this GI issue.
