Brief Answer:
requires sputum examination and pcr.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having thyroid nodule with cervial lymphadenopathy.

Answers and solutions for your medical issues.

1. Low T3, occurs in acute and chronic illness.

2. Need sputum examination for acid fast bacilli and PCR tests to confirm Tuberculosis and to start ATT (anti tubercular treatment).

3. Wait and watch policy is required, as your thyroid swelling is small and your hormones are in normal levels.

4. Need to start a course of broad spectrum antibiotic (reactive lymphadenitis).

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Thank you doctor for prompt reply and advise to go for further investigation.
Based on the reports of FNAC,Ultra Sound guided FNAC and Ultrasound followed by CT Scan, doctor has advised me for excision biopsy.
I am little worried as each report shows problem in Type II,III and IV lymph nodes having colloids, heterogeneous enhancements and central necrotic component, brownish haemorrhagic fluid, which has few histiocytes and lymphomononuclear cells, Kosh's. etc etc..
During all these months I have been running from Pillar to post to get the proper diagnosis.
Kindly clarify my query that these findings are life threatening and are not curable. At the same time what is your kind opinion on my illness. I will shortly get the sputum examination for acid fast bacilli and PCR tests as suggested for further guidance.

Brief Answer:
treatable.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again.

Relax. It's a clear cut cervical lymphadenitis. Which could be infective or tuberculous origin. It is a treatable one and will not cause any life threatening issues, where you do not required to bother.

All the best.
