Brief Answer:
Following causes to slightly elevated AST and ALT...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concern.

Your case:
- 26 years old male
- AST = 81; ALT =41
- other blood work perfect
- very much an athlete

Now, the increase in AST and slightly in ALT could be explained in your case with possible recent:
- hepatitis?
- alcohol/any other drug use?
- strenuous athletic exercises before the testing?

If nothing, then, I advise to eat healthy, avoid fatty/high in calories food and repeat AST and ALT testing after 6 weeks to see if any difference. Meanwhile, I also recommend to run hepatitis testing and abdominal ultrasound for further evaluations now.

Hope this helps.
