Brief Answer:
Medical or surgical abortion

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
If you both do not want to continue this pregnancy and are willing for its termination, then you can go for either medical or surgical abortion.
Weakness and nausea, vomiting are due to pregnancy.
You should consult an OBGYN specialist and consult her regarding the termination of pregnancy.
Medical abortion should be taken under guidance.
The medications include mifepristone and misoprostol.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thanks Doc. The gynaec we visited told us that medical termination might not be possible as the pregnancy is 7 weeks ( this is as per the gynaec) and to go for surgicl cleaning. My wife last had periods on 16th May. Also want to say that she had been having irregular periods (approx gap of 45-60 days) before the pregnancy. Would medical/ surgical abortion be safe? What are the risk factors?

Brief Answer:
Medical abortion can be done upto 9 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
As per her ultrasound, she is 7 weeks 1 day pregnant.
Medical abortion can be done upto 9 weeks of gestation, as per the Government of XXXXXXX norms.
Abortion is safe , medical or surgical, if done under the supervision of an OBGYN specialist.
Risks are excess bleeding, infection and surgical abortion can rarely result in uterine perforation, if the procedure is not done properly.
