Question: i HAD FINISHED MY PERIOD,AFTER 2DAYS I HAD UNPROTECTED SEX AND THE DAY AFTER I HAD SPOTTING FOR 2 DAYS AND IT GONE,AFTER 2 DAYS I START BLEEDING AGAIN LIKE I STARTING MENSTRUATION AGAIN AND LAST 7DAS UNTIL NOW I STILL BLEEDING,THIS IS NEW TO ME.PLEASE I WANT TO KNOW WHAT S GOING ON

Hello,
THANKS for the query to hcm,
This pattern of bleeding is typical of irregular shedding when there occurs an imbalance between oestrogen and progesterone levels by the mid cycle.
Please get the following done:-
1. PAP SMEAR test and per speculum exam to rule out cervical lesions,
2. Hormonal profile for serum estradiol ad progesterone levels .
In the meantime you may opt for antifibrinolytics like tranexamic acid , on prescription for decreasing the bleed.
