What Causes Vaginal Itching And White Discharge While On Zincovit?

Question: Hi Doctor

My wife is suffering from pcos. Doctor has prescribed folinal and zincovit. After started using this medicines she started to feel like itching in her vagina, white material coming out with different odour and stomach ache. Is it serious or is it common

Hi,

I understand your concerns about infertility.

The medicines she is taking are just vitamin and mineral supplements and nothing else. These don't cause white discharge.

White discharge is due to fungal infection of the vagina. I give antifungal drugs like Candid V6 even night for 6 days to my patients to insert vaginally. You can consider using the same.

Please get semen analysis done to assess if your sperms are good. Also get HSG ( hysterosalpingogram) test done for your wife to assess fallopian tubes patency.

i too had semen analysis. the doctor has prescribed me doxy, antoxid and coq10 for low sperm count and less mobility. is it because of having intercourse when using this medicines. She is also using medicine for urine infection
