Dear Madam,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that it feels like neuropathic pain and symptoms that you are telling like shooting pain . It can be due to compression of some nerve which can be picked up by doing MRI LS spine like sciatica. Second possibility is of thrombosis but continuing so long is not feasible.

You should take pregabalin along with methylcobalamin but after discussing this with your treating doctor .

Take care.

They did sciatic testing, mri and spinal xrays and ct. I dont have sciatica thry even treated as if it was abd did needle injection of steroid into spine which only trippled my pain levels.

Dear Sir,

Having gone through all your reports that you have sent nothing was abnormal . but your vitamin B 12 levels were not there . A NCV ( nerve conduction velocity )of both lower limbs can pick the neurological deficit if any . Rest it will be difficult to comment and say . A venous doppler of both lower limbs can be done to look for venous insufficiency . Still I think you should discuss the medicicne that I have told you with your doctor , it will be beneficial for you .

Dear Madam,

Thank you for reverting back.

Sine you are being put on Lasix it means that you are suffering from edema that they want to drain out . Its good that you are not having any blood clot , I strongly have a feel that you have neurologic pain as the character you describe is typical for that.
