Brief Answer:
Possibility of an urticarial lesion

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,

Welcome to this site!
I am Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX a Sr Consultant Dermatologist.

I have noted your concerns.

The patch that appeared yesterday and has slightly faded today seems consistent with urticaria. Urticaria is a condition in which slightly raised patches called wheals may arise and then fade away and this may vary in duration and area of involvement considerably from one person to another.

Most such cases do not have an identifiable cause and even investigations do not always are able to yield any definite clue.

Generally, such episodes are self limiting and application of calamine and Zinc Oxide lotions soothes the skin. It is highly beneficial to give anti allergic medications like cetirizine or desloaratadine for quicker response.

In most cases, any intervention other than the use of soothing applications and oral anti allergics is rarely required.

I hope you will take appropriate action and get well soon.

Our best wishes!
