Brief Answer:
Ultrasound advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for trusting health care magic
I would like to know if the pain and spotting is after any emergency pill intake or any stress going on in your life.
In my opinion you should get a transvaginal ultrasound at the earliest and see if there is any problem with uterus or ovaries
Waiting for your response

Brief Answer:
Generally not related

Detailed Answer:
No dear generally polycystic ovaries cause delayed periods and not any erratic bleeding pattern like this
Just get the ultrasound done and share the reports for further advise.
