Brief Answer:
Needs symptomatic care, Geriatric morbidities.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand yoru concern. Age of 90 is extreme limit of geriatric disability and always present with such complications like dyspnea ( shortness of breath) and gastric pain.

For shortness of breath the patient needs evaluation for the cause, it could be lungs related and heart related or both. Symptomatic care with oxygen, bronchodilators and if heart problem like congestive cardiac failure then diuretics etc and cardiotonics. Get the patient to a health care facility and let them run some labs like oxygen saturation, EKG , echo , pulmonary functions tests and we will have our answers.

regarding the broken bones pain in stomach, symptomatic antaicds like proton pump inhibitors etc should be continuously used and some mucosal protective agent for a while like sucralfate as old age with dehydration and a lot of medications make the stomach mucosa at risk of ulceration and cause such pain.

Nutshell, the old man needs symptomatic care and all efforts to improve the quality of life as much as possible. he may need admission to the hospital if need be.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and your old man and dont forget to close the discussion please.

regards
Khan
