Brief Answer:
Nerve damage.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Stinging sensation in one arm is a nerve dysfunction symptom.

It can be caused by conditions such nerve compression during its pathway, impaired blood flow of the arm, diabetes, low vitamin B12 and in several other conditions.

Nerve conduction study and electromyography are needed to evaluate correctly your condition.

You should discuss with your primary care Doctor about your concerns, he can order additional tests ( blood tests for example ) guided by clinical suspicion after examining you.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
