Brief Answer:
It can be haemorroids. But other conditions need to be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear. There are several reasons for bleeding through rectum. The most common cause is hemorrhoids or piles. Did you have piles before? or symptoms like constipation?

The other most common cause is anal fissure which is a small tear or crack in the lining of the anus. But this condition will be painful and there ll be lot of pain around the anus. But from your history it doesnt seem you had any pain.

The other causes of bleeding per rectum are- diverticulosis, infection, inflammation (IBD or irritable bowel disease, Crohn's disease, colitis), blood vessel problems (angiodysplasia). Other causes of rectal bleeding include polyps, tumors, trauma, an upper gastrointestinal source like stomach ulcers, and Meckel diverticulum (rare).

You need to consult a surgeon who will examine you, do per rectal examination and see what might be the cause. If he suspects any condition other than haemorroids and fissure, the doctor may ask for colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy.

Anyways do not neglect it. Get examined and evaluated by a surgeon.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
