What Causes Rashes On Penis When Partner Uses Spermicidal Birth Control?

default
Posted on Mon, 24 Aug 2015
Question: my girlfriend used a spermicidal birth control .And it is breaking my penus out in a rash and burning at the tip of it when urinating

I have no prior history of disease or any problems at all. Only rash iv ever had was from my wife using Antibiotics. She would then get a yeast infection which in turn would give me a rash . I could put some Vagisil on and clear it up.

Brief Answer:
allergic reaction to the spermicide contents , likely

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

It appears to be an allergic response to the spermicide.
Apply calamine lotion and hydrocortisone cream separately thrice a day. Take either Benadryl or avil tablets which are antihistamines. Most likely the rash and burning will subside. If it persists despite the treatment then you should visit a doctor to physically examine and assess the rash.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
