Question: My mom is 60 years old and for over a month now she has been experiencing headaches in forehead about 1 hour after she wakes. They only go away after she takes tylenol but then come back again. She is also extremely fatigued and occasionally nauseous.

Brief Answer:
maybe migraine but needs more investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Migraine can cause pains in the front also but it is a bit unusual to have migraine start at this age. Usually it starts at a younger age. Coupled with the fact that she is fatigued and nauseous, we need to investigate further.

I would recommend a MRI scan of brain which rules out more serious causes of headache including brain tumors. If MRI is normal, we can continue treatment on the lines of migraine or tension headache.

Hope this helps.
Regards
