Brief Answer:
buprenorphine transdermal patch

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Since your mother had cervix cancer and now she is having severe waist pain i will advise her to apply buprenorphine transdermal patch locally to relieve her pain.

She has to apply one patch to a dry, non-irritated, non-hairy area of her skin on her upper body such as your chest, upper back, or the outside of her arms.

Leave it in place for seven days and then remove it and replace it with a new patch, but apply the replacement patch to a different area of skin on her upper body.

She has to avoid using the area from where she had removed the patch for at least three weeks.

Continue to replace the patches once a week, on the same day of the week.

Brief Answer:
Patch will reduce her pain for 7 days continuosly

Detailed Answer:
Hi

She can apply the patch dry, non-irritated, non hairy area of her skin in her leg.

The patch will work for 7 days continuously to reduce and control her pain and daily basic replacement is not necessary.

After 7 days she has to replace the old patch and apply a new one in a different area of her leg.

Brief Answer:
Yes she can bathe

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Yes she can bathe or swim while she is wearing the patch.

If the patch comes unstuck before she is due to change it i will advise her not to stick it back on again. Apply a new patch instead.
