What Causes Painful Urination And Blood In Urine?

Question: Having pain at the last part of emptying bladder noticed small amount do blood when blotting dry. This morning I fell like I needs to go a lot but very little. . Also notice that I had passed blood that was shaped like flake did not dissolve in the water and no color in urine output

Thanks for query .

pain at the end of urination (Strangury)and slight bleeding is mostly due to infection of urinary bladder (Cystitis)

Get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like
Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

It is normal to get flakes of blood (Clots) in cystitis ,

With suggested medications it should get cured within a week .
