Brief Answer:
possible with dentures.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having painful roof of mouth. I would like to ask you few more details. The picture you have uploaded is of low magnification and unclear. Could you please upload a better image with high resolution?

Are you wearing dentures or on any medications ?

Kindly get back to me with the details.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be palate ulcer secondary to tight dentures or due to nutritional deficiencies.

I suggest you to follow the measures, to overcome pain.

1. salt water gargling.

2. Apply over the counter antithetic oral gel like anbesol (benzocaine ) three times daily.

3. Take multi vitamins daily one tab.

4. stop wearing dentures.

In case of persistence, needs ent consultation to rule out other causes.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Needs naked eye examination.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

Looks like palatal ulcer, could be due to nutritional deficiencies, infections, or growths (torus platinus, cancer).

Needs naked eye examination to see its margins, borders for the exact diagnosis. In case of suspicion, biopsy and histo-pathlogical examination required.

Kindly evaluate. Mean time, follow the instructions for pain.

Hope, I have answered your query.

All the best.
