What Causes Pain, Tingling Sensation And Swelling In The Testicles After Smoking Marijuana?

default

Question: So several months ago, I smoked some marijuana and immediately got this sharp, shooting pain in my testicles. I wasn't sure why, but it eventually went away after a few days. I smoked again a few days after I thought the pain was completely gone but sure enough, the pain came right back. The pain was excruciating while I was high. For the next week, my testicles were constantly sore, with a dull achey feeling. Eventually, I quit weed because of this pain. I went to a urologist but they didn't seem to find anything wrong. There weren't any visible varicoceles or testicular torison. Over the course of the next couple months, it seemed liked whenever i drank a lot alochol, the pain would come back. It didn't make sense, but I think it has something to do with the blood flow going to my testicles. Maybe I do have a varicocele? Also, the pain comes back when I work out, so i keep thinking it has something to do with the blood being pumped down there. Also, sometimes, seperate from the pain, I get this small tingling pinch down there too, like almost if something is moving around down there. I quit drugs and alochol by the way. I'm currently on antibiotics because we are trying to rule out epididymis or prostatitis. Anyone have any idea? thanks

Brief Answer:
Could be due to inflammation of Spermatic Cord (Funiculitis)

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in testicles with unspecific timing and occasional tingling sensation

In view of almost all the basic tests like Ultrasound Scanning ,Color Doppler study of Scrotum being negative and inconclusive the pain in testicles that you have could be due to mild inflammation of the Spermatic Cord (Funiculitis).

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefotaxime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily along with Diethylcarbamazine (Hetrazan) twice daily .

Using Scrotal support will prevent hanging of testicles and give relief from pain .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
