Brief Answer:
could be gastritis or kidney stone

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to health care magic.

Though the symptoms suggest of gastritis ,similar symptoms are seen with kidney stones also. The diagnosis depends on exact site of pain.

If pain is in upper part of abdomen then it goes in favor of gastritis. If pain is on sides of abdomen it goes in favor of kidney stones. If such a patient comes to me i usually suggest to start on PPI like pantoprazole/omeprazole with antiemetic like domperidone combination.

If symptoms doesn't subscide or increase after taking tablets for 2 days then i suggest ultrasound abdomen to rule out kidney stones.

Hope i have been helpful.
