What Causes Pain In The Left Arm And Leg?

Question: Pain in left arm and leg, its a mild pain but happening today from last many hours, heart beat just checked 68 with bp 117 /71 on my machine . Is this paindue to gas or could be heart problem ?

Dear Sir
1. Neither the pain of heart nor that of a gastric upset goes to involve leg in a usual case. The typical pain of heart does not go below umbilicus. However, there may be concomitant involvement of two systems.
2. Neither BP nor heart rate provide any indication about absence or presence of heart attack or pain related to heart.
3. However, any ongoing pain is important and significant. It should not be ignored. You must visit your GP or emergency room and get yourself examined. This is necessary so as not to miss any important cause of pain; be it cardiac or non-cardiac.
